Rudy Rinaldi and Boris Vain will compete in the first two rounds of the two-man bobsleigh event on the Olympic track in Yanqing on Monday.
First to go in round 1
The ice will be fresh and the track pristine, which is a huge advantage.

Monegasque bobsleigh team gets off to great start
Rudy Rinaldi and Boris Vain put in a fantastic performance in Yanqing today. At the end of the first day of competition, the Monegasque team are two tenths of a second off the podium. Everything will be decided during the final two rounds tomorrow (1.15 pm and 2.50 pm).
A historic result for the Monegasque bobsleigh team
Rudy Rinaldi and Boris Vain kept the dream going until the end of the final two rounds today. They finished in a remarkable sixth place. This is Monaco’s best ever finish at a Winter or Summer Olympics.
